Zelfklevende magneetschijfjes 20mm diameter, 2mm dikte, N35

Self adhesive Neodymium disc magnets of 20mm, 2mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 2KG. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

How do I apply the self-adhesive disc magnet properly?
Clean and degrease the surface first, then press the magnet firmly in place. For best results, apply steady pressure and avoid moving it right after placement.
Which surfaces work best for the adhesive backing?
Smooth, clean, and non-porous surfaces generally give the most reliable bond. Make sure the surface is dry and free of dust or oil.
What is the correct way to separate two magnets?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling straight. This reduces the force you need and helps prevent chipping or cracking.
Can I use these magnets on a vertical surface for hanging items?
Yes, they’re commonly used for signs and displays on vertical surfaces. The real holding performance depends on the material thickness, surface condition, and load direction.
Do these magnets work with steel and stainless steel?
They work best on ferromagnetic steel. Some stainless steels are not magnetic, so the holding power can vary a lot depending on the grade.
What does axial magnetization mean in daily use?
The north and south poles are on the two flat, round faces of the disc. That makes them ideal for face-to-face mounting and stacking.
What is the advantage of the nickel-plated finish?
The nickel coating offers a smooth surface and helps protect the magnet during normal handling. It also gives a clean, professional look for visible applications.
How should I clean and maintain the magnets?
Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. Avoid harsh cleaners that could affect the coating or adhesive backing.
Are these suitable for crafts, model making, and advertising setups?
Yes, they’re a practical choice for quick mounting in model building, displays, and signage. The self-adhesive backing speeds up installation without extra hardware.
What safety tips should I keep in mind when handling strong magnets?
Keep fingers clear when magnets snap together and store them with spacers to reduce impact. Handle with care to avoid sudden collisions that can damage the magnets.
