Magnetic disc 4mm diameter, thickness 1,5mm, N45

Neodymium disc magnets of 4mm, 1,5mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N45 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 350gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
Each magnet has a 4 mm outer diameter and a thickness of 1.5 mm, making it easy to use in compact projects.
How strong is the magnet?
The holding strength is approximately 350 grams under ideal conditions on a clean, flat steel surface.
What does N45 magnetization mean in practice?
N45 indicates a high-grade neodymium magnet material, offering strong performance for its size and reliable holding power in everyday applications.
Are these magnets axially magnetized?
Yes, they are axially magnetized, so the north and south poles are located on the two flat circular faces.
How do I separate stacked magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart rather than pulling straight off; this reduces the risk of sudden snapping and damage.
What material and surface finish do these magnets have?
They are neodymium disc magnets with a nickel-plated surface, designed for a neat look and added surface protection.
What are common use cases for this size magnet?
They’re widely used for advertising applications, hanging signs, and model making where a small, strong magnet is needed.
Can I use them to attract and repel?
Yes, depending on pole orientation they will either attract or repel when brought face-to-face.
What surfaces are they compatible with?
They work best on ferromagnetic materials like steel; smooth, flat contact typically delivers the most consistent hold.
How should I clean and maintain the magnets?
Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris, and store them clean and dry for best day-to-day performance.
