Magneetschijfjes 9,5mm diameter, 2mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 9,5mm, 2mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 950gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What is this disc magnet typically used for?
It’s a solid choice for signage, display mounting, advertising setups, and model making where you want a compact but strong hold.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling straight. This reduces the chance they snap together and chip.
Which side is magnetic on an axially magnetized disc?
The poles are on the two flat, round faces. The magnet attracts best when those faces contact the metal surface.
What surface works best for maximum holding force?
A thick, clean steel surface gives the strongest grip. Thin sheet metal, paint layers, or uneven surfaces will reduce holding performance.
Can I mount it with a screw or bolt?
This disc magnet is designed for direct magnetic mounting. If you need mechanical fastening, use a suitable holder or adhesive solution for your application.
What material and finish does the magnet have?
It’s made from neodymium and has a nickel-plated finish. This coating provides a smooth, durable surface for everyday handling.
How strong is this magnet?
The approximate pulling force is about 950 g under ideal conditions. Real-world grip depends on the surface, contact area, and direction of load.
Is it compatible with other disc magnets?
Yes, it can be combined with other disc magnets, but the interaction depends on their size and pole orientation. If two magnets repel, simply flip one of them over.
How should I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep it clean from metal dust. Store it dry to keep the plated surface in good condition.
What are the main benefits of this size and grade?
The 9.5 mm disc format is compact and easy to integrate into small assemblies. N35 neodymium gives a strong hold in a small footprint for professional-looking results.
