Magneetschijfjes 8mm diameter, 2mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 8mm, 2mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 700gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
It has an 8 mm outer diameter and a 2 mm thickness, making it a compact choice for precise placements.
How strong is this magnet in practical use?
The holding force is approximately 700 g under ideal conditions on a clean, flat steel surface.
What does “axially magnetized” mean for this disc?
The north and south poles are on the two flat round faces, so it attracts or repels face-to-face.
What’s the best way to separate two magnets that stick together?
Slide them sideways apart rather than pulling straight up; it’s safer and usually takes less effort.
Which surfaces work best for mounting or holding?
For best results, use smooth ferromagnetic surfaces like steel; clean contact surfaces improve grip and consistency.
Can I use it for signage, displays, or model making?
Yes, it’s commonly used for hanging signs, advertising/display setups, and model making where compact magnetic holding is needed.
What material and coating does it have?
It’s a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated finish, designed for a neat look and added surface protection.
How should I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep the contact faces free of dust or metal particles for reliable performance.
Are there handling tips to prevent chipping or breakage?
Keep a firm grip and let magnets meet gently; strong attraction can make them snap together and damage the edges.
Does it have a countersunk hole or mounting hole?
This item is supplied as a standard disc magnet; typical mounting is done by placing it against a suitable surface or integrating it into a holder.
