Magneetschijfjes 5mm diameter, 3mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 5mm, 3mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 500gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
This is a neodymium disc magnet with a 5 mm outside diameter and 3 mm thickness.
What is the coating and why does it matter?
It is nickel-plated, which helps protect the magnet surface and provides a smooth finish for clean handling.
How strong is the magnet in practical use?
The approximate holding strength is around 500 grams under ideal conditions with clean, flat steel contact.
How is this disc magnet magnetized?
It is axially magnetized (N35), meaning the north and south poles are on the two flat round faces.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart rather than pulling them straight off to reduce impact and make separation easier.
Can it be used for mounting signs or displays?
Yes, it’s commonly used for hanging signs, advertising setups, and lightweight fixtures where a compact magnet is needed.
Does it have a countersunk hole for screws?
This magnet is designed as a plain disc for magnetic attachment; installation is typically done by placing it against a suitable metal surface.
What surfaces work best for maximum grip?
Smooth, thick ferromagnetic steel gives the best results; thin metal, coatings, or gaps can reduce holding power.
How should I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a dry or lightly damp cloth and keep contact faces free of dust or metal particles for consistent performance.
What are the key benefits of using an N35 neodymium disc?
You get strong magnetic performance in a very small size, making it ideal for compact builds, models, and neat mounting solutions.
