Magneetschijfjes 3mm diameter, 2mm dikte, N48

Neodymium disc magnets of 3mm, 2mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N48 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 300gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
It has a 3 mm outer diameter and a 2 mm thickness. This compact size is ideal for precise, lightweight applications.
What is the magnetization direction?
The magnet is axially magnetized, meaning the poles are on the two flat round faces. This makes it easy to stack or align face-to-face.
How strong is this magnet in practice?
The approximate holding force is around 300 grams under ideal conditions. Actual results depend on the surface, contact area, and air gap.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them apart sideways instead of pulling straight. This reduces the risk of them snapping together and chipping.
What material and coating does it have?
It’s a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated surface. The coating helps provide a clean finish for everyday use.
Can I use it for signs, displays, or model making?
Yes, it’s commonly used for advertising applications, hanging signs, and model building. The small format is handy where space is tight.
Does it work with other magnets and steel surfaces?
It will attract ferromagnetic materials and can also attract or repel other magnets depending on pole orientation. For best performance, use a clean, flat steel contact surface.
How should I mount it without drilling?
For non-permanent mounting, it’s often placed in a snug recess or used with a suitable adhesive for smooth surfaces. Always test your setup first for your load and environment.
How do I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep the surface free of metal dust. Store it clean and dry to keep it looking good.
What are the key advantages of this magnet grade?
N48 offers strong magnetic performance in a very small size. It’s a solid choice when you want high pull force without adding bulk.
