Magneetschijfjes 30mm diameter, 3mm dikte, N45

Neodymium disc magnets of 30mm, 3mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N45 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 6.700gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What is this disc magnet mainly used for?
It’s a strong neodymium disc magnet suited for practical holding tasks such as signage, displays, model making, and workshop fixtures.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart rather than pulling them straight. This reduces sudden snapping and helps prevent chipping.
Which side is magnetic, and how are the poles arranged?
This disc is axially magnetized, meaning the north and south poles are on the two flat, round faces.
Can I use it to attract or repel another magnet?
Yes, depending on the orientation, magnets will either attract or repel when you bring the pole faces together.
Does it have a countersunk hole for screw mounting?
This product is supplied as a plain disc magnet. For mounting, it’s commonly used in a recess, holder, or with a suitable adhesive solution.
What material and coating does it have?
It’s made from neodymium and finished with a nickel plating for a clean look and added surface protection.
What are the dimensions of this magnet?
The outer diameter is 30 mm, and the thickness is 3 mm.
How strong is it in real-world use?
The approximate pull force is around 6.7 kg under ideal conditions. Actual holding performance depends on the contact surface, thickness, and air gaps.
What surfaces work best for maximum holding power?
Smooth, flat ferromagnetic steel surfaces deliver the best results. Paint, coatings, uneven surfaces, or small gaps will reduce grip.
How should I clean and store the magnet?
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep it clean from metal dust. Store magnets separated or with spacers to avoid impacts and accidental snapping.
