Magneetschijfjes 15mm diameter, 1mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 15mm, 1,5mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 1.300gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What is this magnet typically used for?
It’s a handy choice for holding lightweight items, creating removable displays, and quick fixtures in signage, advertising setups, and model making.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling them straight off. This helps you keep control and reduces the chance of snapping together.
Which side is the magnetic pole on?
The poles are on the flat, round faces of the disc. That means the magnet attracts or repels when you bring the faces together.
Can I mount it with screws or bolts?
This disc magnet has no specified countersunk hole, so it’s usually mounted by clamping, placing it in a holder, or bonding it into a recess.
What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
It has a 15 mm outer diameter and a thickness of 1.5 mm, which makes it easy to hide in slim builds or compact fixtures.
What material and coating does it have?
It’s a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated surface. The coating gives it a clean finish and helps with everyday handling.
How strong is it?
The listed strength is around 1,300 grams (about 1.3 kg) under ideal conditions. Real-world holding power depends on the surface, contact area, and direction of load.
Will it work on stainless steel?
It works best on ferromagnetic steel. Some stainless steels are only weakly magnetic, so performance can vary a lot.
How do I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth and keep the contact surfaces clean for best grip. For storage, keep magnets separated to avoid chipping from impact.
What’s the main benefit of the thin disc shape?
You get strong magnetic performance in a compact, low-profile format. It’s ideal when you want a clean look with minimal thickness.
