Magneetschijfjes 15mm diameter, 1,5mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 15mm, 1,5mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 1.300gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
It has a 15 mm outer diameter and a 1.5 mm thickness, so it’s compact and easy to integrate into slim designs.
How strong is this magnet in practical use?
The holding strength is approximately 1,300 g under ideal conditions on a flat, clean steel surface. Real-world results can vary based on material, thickness, and air gaps.
Which way is the magnetization oriented?
It is axially magnetized (N35), meaning the poles are on the two flat, round faces. This makes it ideal for face-to-face holding or stacking.
What’s the best way to separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling straight off. This reduces the risk of sudden snapping, chipping, or pinching.
What material and surface finish does it have?
This is a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated surface. The coating helps protect the magnet during everyday handling and typical indoor use.
Can I glue this magnet into my project?
Yes, it’s commonly used in glued assemblies for signs, displays, and models. For best results, bond it to a clean, dry surface and allow the adhesive to fully cure before loading.
Does this magnet have a countersunk hole for screws?
This product is supplied as a plain disc magnet. If you want a screw-mounted setup, consider using a suitable holder or mounting solution.
What are common applications for this magnet?
It’s widely used for advertising setups, hanging signs, and model making. The slim profile makes it handy where space is tight but reliable holding is needed.
How do I keep the magnet clean and in good condition?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and metal particles. Keeping contact surfaces clean helps maintain consistent grip and prevents scratching.
Will two of these magnets repel each other?
Yes, depending on the pole orientation, they will either attract or repel. Just flip one magnet to switch between attraction and repulsion.
