Magneetschijfjes 12mm diameter, 2mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 12mm, 2mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 1.300gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What is the size of this disc magnet?
Each magnet has a 12 mm outer diameter and a 2 mm thickness, which makes it easy to integrate in compact designs.
What material and coating are used?
It is a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated surface for a clean finish and extra protection during normal use.
How strong is this magnet?
The approximate holding force is 1,300 grams under ideal conditions on a suitable steel surface.
How is the magnetized direction and where are the poles?
It is axially magnetized (N35), meaning the poles are on the two flat round faces.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling straight off. This reduces the snap force and helps prevent chipping or breakage.
Can these magnets be used for advertising or signage?
Yes, they are commonly used for advertising applications and hanging signs where a compact, strong magnet is needed.
Does it have a countersunk hole for screws?
This disc magnet is designed as a plain disc for surface mounting methods such as adhesive bonding or magnetic clamping, depending on your setup.
What surfaces work best for mounting?
Smooth ferromagnetic steel surfaces typically give the best performance and most consistent contact.
How should I clean and maintain the magnets?
Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or debris. Keeping the contact faces clean helps maintain good grip and prevents scratches.
What are common applications for this size?
It’s a practical choice for model making, fixtures, and light-duty holding tasks where you want strong performance in a thin disc.
