Magneetschijfjes 10mm diameter, 5mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 10mm, 5mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 2.200gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
It has a 10 mm outer diameter and a 5 mm thickness, supplied per piece.
How is this magnet magnetized?
It is axially magnetized (N35), meaning the poles are on the two flat, round faces.
What is the approximate holding force?
The approximate pull force is around 2.2 kg under ideal conditions on a clean, thick steel surface.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling straight. This reduces the risk of them snapping together and getting damaged.
What surface works best for mounting?
Smooth ferromagnetic steel gives the best results. Paint, coatings, unevenness, or thin sheet metal can reduce grip.
Does it have a countersunk hole for screws?
This disc magnet is designed as a solid disc. For screw mounting, it’s typically used with a holder or bracket depending on your setup.
What is the coating and why does it matter?
It’s nickel-plated, which helps protect the magnet surface in everyday use and gives it a clean, professional finish.
Can I stack multiple magnets to get more strength?
Yes, stacking can increase magnetic strength and reach. Just handle with care because stacked magnets can snap together hard.
What are common applications for this magnet?
It’s often used for signage, display and advertising setups, and model making where a compact but strong magnet is needed.
How should I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth and keep the contact surfaces clean for best performance. Store it so magnets can’t slam into each other.
