Magneetschijfjes 10mm diameter, 3mm dikte, N42

Neodymium disc magnets of 10mm, 3mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N42 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 1.800gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
This neodymium disc magnet has a 10 mm outer diameter and a 3 mm thickness.
How strong is this magnet in real use?
The approximate holding force is around 1,800 grams under ideal conditions on a suitable steel surface.
Which way are the poles positioned (magnetization direction)?
It is axially magnetized (N42), meaning the north and south poles are on the two flat round faces.
How do I separate stacked magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart rather than pulling them straight off, as this reduces the risk of snapping together and chipping.
Does this magnet have a countersunk hole for a screw?
This item is supplied as a plain disc magnet for direct magnetic mounting, gluing, or integrating into a design.
What materials and finish is it made from?
It’s a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated surface for a clean look and added protection.
What surfaces work best for maximum holding power?
For best results, use thick, flat ferromagnetic steel with full contact between the magnet and the surface.
Can I use it for signs, displays, or model making?
Yes, it’s commonly used for hanging signs, advertising applications, and model building where compact, strong magnets are needed.
How should I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth and keep it clean to protect the plated surface and maintain good contact.
What is the main advantage of N42 neodymium in this size?
You get a high magnetic performance in a compact 10 mm disc, making it a practical choice when space is limited.
