Magneetschijfjes 10mm diameter, 2,5mm dikte, N35

Neodymium disc magnets of 10mm, 2,5mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 1.300gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our disc magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles are on the round side. In order to remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION ! Because of the magnetic force they can collapse on top of each other and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this disc magnet?
It has a 10 mm diameter and a 2.5 mm thickness, which makes it easy to fit into compact builds and fixtures.
How strong is this magnet in practical use?
The approximate pull force is around 1.3 kg under ideal conditions on clean, thick steel. Real-world strength depends on the surface, air gap, and alignment.
What does “axially magnetized” mean for mounting?
The north and south poles are on the two flat round faces. This is ideal when you want direct face-to-face holding or stacking.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them sideways apart instead of pulling them straight off. This reduces sudden snap forces and helps prevent chipping.
Can I use these magnets for signs or display projects?
Yes, they’re commonly used for hanging signs, advertising setups, and model making. The compact size makes them practical for clean, hidden mounting.
What material and coating does the magnet have?
It’s a neodymium magnet with a nickel-plated surface. The coating provides a neat finish and helps protect the magnet in everyday handling.
What grade is the magnet, and what does it imply?
It is magnetization grade N35. In short: it delivers strong performance for general-purpose applications while keeping size compact.
Do I need to drill a hole or use special hardware to mount it?
No special hardware is required for basic use; it can be mounted by placing it directly on ferromagnetic surfaces. For fixed installations, you can combine it with suitable adhesives or holders for your setup.
How should I clean and maintain the magnets?
Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and metal particles. Keep the contact faces clean for the best holding performance.
What is the main advantage of choosing a 10 mm disc magnet?
You get a strong hold in a small footprint, which is great when you want a discreet solution. The round shape also makes alignment and stacking straightforward.
