Magneetblok 5x5mm, 1mm dikte, H44

Neodymium magnet 5x5mm, 1mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization H44 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 350gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our block magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles of our rectangular magnets are on the largest side. To remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION! Due to the magnetic force they can collapse back together and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What is this magnet typically used for?
It’s a solid choice for small fixtures in signage, displays, and model making where you want a clean, compact hold.
How strong is one magnet in practical terms?
The pull strength is approximately 350 g under ideal conditions on a clean, flat steel surface. Real-world results depend on surface, thickness, and alignment.
How are the poles oriented on this block magnet?
It is axially magnetized, meaning the poles sit on the largest faces. This makes it easy to stack or mount with a predictable attraction/repulsion direction.
What’s the safest way to separate two magnets?
Slide them apart sideways instead of pulling them straight apart. Sliding reduces the snap-back risk and helps prevent chipping.
Does it work on any metal surface?
It works best on ferromagnetic materials like iron and steel. On weaker or coated surfaces, the effective hold can be lower.
What material and coating does it have?
It’s a neodymium magnet with a nickel plating. The coating helps protect the surface and gives it a neat, metallic finish.
Can I glue this magnet in place?
Yes, it’s commonly fixed with suitable adhesives when a mechanical mount isn’t practical. Make sure the bonding surface is clean, dry, and flat for best results.
How do I keep the nickel surface looking good?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust or fingerprints. For heavier dirt, use a lightly damp cloth and dry it right away.
Are there handling tips to prevent damage?
Keep magnets from snapping together, as impacts can cause cracks or chips. For storage, keep them separated or stacked with a spacer.
What’s the key advantage of this size and shape?
The compact 5 x 5 mm format fits tight builds while still delivering strong holding power for its size. It’s handy when you need a discreet magnetic connection.
