Magneetblok 20x5mm, 1,5mm dikte, N35

Neodymium magnet 20x5mm, 1,5mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 750gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our block magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles of our rectangular magnets are on the largest side. To remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION! Due to the magnetic force they can collapse back together and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What is this magnet typically used for?
It’s a solid choice for advertising setups, hanging signs, and model making where you need compact, reliable holding power.
How strong is the magnet in practical use?
The holding force is approximately 750 g under ideal conditions. Real-world results depend on the surface material, thickness, and contact quality.
How do I separate two magnets safely?
Slide them apart sideways instead of pulling straight. This reduces the snap effect and helps prevent chipping or breakage.
Which side is magnetic and where are the poles located?
This magnet is axially magnetized, so the poles are on the two largest faces. It will attract or repel depending on which pole faces the other magnet.
Does this magnet work on any metal surface?
It works best on clean, flat ferromagnetic surfaces like steel. Performance drops on thin sheet metal, painted layers, or non-magnetic metals.
What are the dimensions of this magnet?
The magnet is 20 mm long and about 1.5 mm thick. This compact size makes it easy to integrate into tight builds and signage.
What material and coating are used?
It’s made from neodymium and finished with a nickel plating. The coating gives it a neat look and helps protect the surface during normal handling.
Can I glue or mount this magnet into a project?
Yes, it can be integrated into housings or bonded in place for many DIY and professional applications. For best results, use a clean, dry surface and a suitable adhesive for your material.
How should I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and metal particles. Keeping the contact surfaces clean helps maintain consistent grip.
What are the main benefits of using an N35 neodymium magnet?
N35 offers a strong magnetic performance in a compact format, which is great when space is limited. It’s a practical option for repeatable, tool-free attaching and detaching.
