Magneetblok 10x10mm, 1mm dikte, N35

Neodymium magnet 10x10mm, 1mm thickness, nickel-plated. Magnetization N35 axial (parallel to height), Strenght approx. 550gram. Magnets attract or repel on a pole side. Our block magnets are axially magnetized. This means that the poles of our rectangular magnets are on the largest side. To remove magnets from each other, you have to slide them away from each other. ATTENTION! Due to the magnetic force they can collapse back together and possibly break. Application: Is widely used in advertising applications, hanging signs and model making.

FAQ

FAQ

What are the dimensions of this magnet?
It measures 10 x 10 mm with a thickness of 1 mm. This compact size is ideal for neat, low-profile mounting.
How strong is the magnet in everyday use?
The holding strength is approximately 550 g under good conditions. Actual performance depends on the surface material, thickness, and contact quality.
How is this magnet magnetized?
It is axially magnetized (N35), meaning the poles are on the large 10 x 10 mm faces. This makes it practical for flat-to-flat contact applications.
What’s the best way to separate stacked magnets?
Slide them apart sideways instead of pulling straight off. This helps prevent sudden snapping together and reduces the risk of damage.
What is the surface finish, and why does it matter?
The magnet is nickel-plated for a smooth finish and added surface protection. It also helps reduce wear from repeated handling.
Can I glue this magnet to a sign or model?
Yes, it’s commonly used in hanging signs, advertising builds, and model making. Use a suitable adhesive on clean, dry surfaces for reliable bonding.
Is this magnet suitable for temporary, removable mounting?
Yes, it’s a good fit for removable setups where you want quick placement and clean removal. Pairing it with a steel surface or plate typically gives the most stable result.
What materials does it stick to best?
It performs best on ferromagnetic steel surfaces with full, flat contact. Thin, painted, rough, or coated surfaces can reduce grip.
How do I clean and maintain the magnet?
Wipe it with a soft, dry or lightly damp cloth and keep the contact faces free of dust and metal particles. Storing it clean helps maintain consistent holding performance.
What are the main benefits of this block magnet for projects?
It offers strong performance in a very thin format, making designs more compact and tidy. It’s also easy to integrate into small assemblies and prototypes.
